First assignment.

Working in Maya for the first time, we were assigned to complete 3D image of a candlestick.

I couldn't figure out for the life of my how to render and export as a jpeg and ended up posting a screenshot which still shows the rendering pretty well. 

Was definitely a challenge getting accustomed to the program, but slowly and surely I believe working with the program will become more intuitive.
